This Sunday, October 13 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, enjoy the fascinating tales of popular speaker Bill Fernandez (author of Rainbows Over Kapaʻa) in celebration of his new book Kauaʻi Kids in Peace and War. These stories span Fernandez’s childhood growing up in Kapaʻa in the 1930’s and during World War II. This event will be held at Native Books/Nā Mea Hawaiʻi in Ward Warehouse. Refreshments and a book signing will follow the initial presentation.
