  • 11:00am – It’s Children’s Storytime at Barnes & Noble Ala Moana and they’ll be reading The Pout-Pout Fish in the Big-Big Dark by Deborah Diesen.  More info
  • 11:00am – Hawaii Kai Public Library presents “Researching Your Family History.”  Fran McFarland will demonstrate how to use Ancestry Library and HeritageQuest, two genealogy databases offered by HSPLS, as well as other online research tools. She has assisted many people in researching their roots to find missing branches of their family tree or to establish blood quantum for Hawaiian entitlement programs.  For more information, call 397-5833.  Source
  • 11:30am – Create Your Own Simple Book workshop at Kapolei Public Library.  Shannon Leitch, Curatorial Graduate Assistant, University of Hawaii Art Gallery will conduct a bookmaking demonstration suitable for ages 10 and older.  Call 693-7050 for more info.  Source
